Take a peek at the fall onion harvest

It’s onion harvesting time in the Pacific Northwest. Here Shay Myers of Parma, Idaho-based Owyhee Produce gives a bird’s eye view of what it looks like to harvest 238 million onions.

On conventional onions alone, Owyhee and its grower partners grow more than 1,600 acres of onions, producing enough onions to feed over 5.3 million people.
