Seald Sweet/Greenyard USA keen to show off its growth

Seald Sweet/Greenyard USA is a global organization offering a wide variety of products from around the world. Grounded in its American roots, it has expanded its business beyond its borders to encompass countries globally. It is part of a global network of companies, with more than 9,000 employees globally.

The industry knows Seald Sweet as a citrus provider, but it has grown beyond those roots and it now has a full range of products: grapes, avocados, blueberries, ginger, lychees, pears and vegetables. And it says it is not done yet!

Seald Sweet signed an exclusive marketing agreement with Las Tarcascas, a family-owned avocado farm in Jalisco, Mexico.

“We keep growing each and every year, strengthening the alliances with our current growers and focusing on responsible sourcing,” said Helena Fernandez Irastorza. “We provide the most value to our customers with a transparent supply chain that allows costs to be removed while providing our products.”

Recently, Seald Sweet signed an exclusive marketing agreement with Las Tarcascas, a family-owned avocado farm in Jalisco, Mexico. It will be servicing its key retail partners with products imported through McAllen, Texas, where it will also have the option of private labeling, custom packs and ripening.

Seald Sweet will exhibit this year as Platinum Sponsors. It will sponsor the General Session: State of the Industry breakfast, presented by Cathy Burns on Thursday, October 27th. “We truly look forward to learning more about the industry trends while sharing a delightful breakfast featuring our mandarins,” said Fernandez Irastorza.

The company will also be displaying at the IFPA Fresh Ideas Showcase. Its newest products will be at the Mian Fresh Showcase: blueberries, ginger, avocados and lychees. “Because we are more than just citrus,” said Fernandez Irastorza.

Greenyard is also very aggressive with its sustainability goals and one of them is having 100 percent recyclable packaging by 2025. At IFPA, it will feature its 100 percent recyclable citrus bag and its initiative to reduce plastic with its Kraft bag. Its sustainable packaging will be displayed at the Packaging Innovation Showcase.

“Visit our booth #2743 to meet the team behind our products,” said Fernandez Irastorza. “This will be a special show for many reasons. The first because it is IFPA and also because we will be able to meet in person again after two consecutive years away.”
