Peru’s 2021-2022 grape exports campaign started in a favorable way, totaling US$81.85 million in October 2021. This was an increase of 7.4% compared to the same month in 2020, when the sales amounted to US$76.24 million. The main markets for Peruvian grapes were the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States, which together accounted for 66% of the total.

The markets that experienced the highest growth -those in the top 10- were South Korea (US$3.67 million; up 255%), Germany (US$2.66 million; up 56%), and Spain (US$3.22 million; up 54%). In 2020, Peru had become the world's second largest grape exporter, after China.
