Many fruit importers showcased their products

The fourth China International Import Expo was a success

The fourth China International Import Expo officially opened on the 5th of November and came to an end on the 10th of November. The expo took place in the Shanghai National Expo Center. The China International Import Expo is the first national import expo in the world. The expo has been an annual event since the first session in 2018, and now offers four platforms for international purchases, investment, cultural exchange, and open cooperation, where visitors from across the globe can share their products.

Many international expositions that used to take place in China have been canceled or delayed since the outbreak of Covid-19. People in the fruit and vegetable industries lacked an appropriate structure to facilitate information exchange in the industries. The flow of market information was obstructed by the outbreak of the pandemic.

The need for expositions like the China International Import Expo was great. Participant companies took advantage of this platform to showcase their latest products and engage in conversation with other participants.

In the end, large companies still showed a lot of interest in participation, especially companies with eye-catching products such as Joyvio blueberries, Joyvio bananas, Zespri kiwi-fruit, and New Zealand Rockit apples. These products attracted the attention of large numbers of visitors who stopped to take everything in and ask questions about these products.
