Manter launches a new packaging machine with a capacity up to 25 bags (at 2.5 kg) per minute. The AutoMesh+ packs fully automatically into mesh bags from a roll and can be adjusted to a different package weight at the touch of a button. Manter thus meets the increasing demand for versatile automation of packaging processes in the fruit and vegetable sector.
User-friendly for the demanding user
Companies in the fruit and vegetable sector are constantly looking for solutions that increase their packing speed and also meet the demand for various packing weights. The AutoMesh+ allows the user to quickly and efficiently switch between different weights, with minimal downtime. By using presets, both small and large weights can be varied effortlessly. This significantly increases the efficiency and speed compared to other mesh bag packaging machines.
New design and additional features
"The AutoMesh+ is designed to provide reliable performance and durability," says Herman Wehkamp, board member of Manter. “Even larger products, such as large (sweet) potatoes, can be packed effortlessly thanks to a standard integrated open/closed filling opening.” This creates the largest possible filling opening and minimizes obstructions. The opening can be adjusted according
the size of the product to be packed. The bags are then stitched up by a strong industrial sewing machine. The machine is equipped with V-belts that hold the bags beyond the sewing machine, resulting in a neat finish of the bags. "The AutoMesh+ also offers all the technical features for a rich user-experience, including: a tape dispenser for 50 to 80mm tape, thread break detection, a fixed hopper and photocell filling hole control." says Wehkamp. "Our sewing line-up has a proven track record, the AutoMesh+ is the logical addition that meets the requirements of the demanding user even better."
