Packing tomatoes in paper sleeves

Jasa intends to showcase no less than four packaging solutions during Fruit Logistica in Berlin: three Sleevers and the award-winning Bag-2-Paperâ„¢.

The Jasa Sleever is an answer to the increasing demand for sustainable packaging. Jasa developed technology for the high-speed packaging of tomatoes and many other products, packed in bowls with paper sleeves. These sleeves are made of 100% cardboard* and as such suitable for recycling. Last year the apple Sleever was very much appreciated, this time also the Sleevers for kiwis and tomatoes can be seen in action; they will be demonstrated live at the Jasa stand.

Jasa will also showcase a way to package in sustainable paper bags: The Bag-2-Paperâ„¢. This technology was rewarded with no less than three awards: the Dutch NL Packaging Award 2019, the WorldStar Packaging Award 2020 and the Worldstar Sustainable Award 2020. The packaging is plastic-free, can be wrapped without sealing, and is suitable for packaging potatoes, onions, garlic, and other products.

The Jasa stand can be found in Hall 9, booth D14
