"We're expanding existing core markets and cultivating new opportunities"

Key Technology, a member of the Duravant family of operating companies, announced the promotion of Daniel Leighty to Global Vice President of Sales. Leighty is responsible for activities that lead Key’s worldwide sales organization to bring the company’s high performance digital sorting, conveying and process automation systems to the market.

“During his 12 years with Key, Dan has held a number of sales and management positions with increasing responsibilities. He has the leadership skills to inspire and support our salespeople to deliver the best customer experiences. Plus, he thoroughly understands our technologies and the nuances of regional markets around the world,” said Louis Vintro, Senior Vice President of New Products and Business Development at Key. “We’re thrilled to have Dan expand his role and help drive our continued success.”

Leighty has been with Key since 2007 and brings more than 25 years of experience in sales management. Prior to this promotion, he was Global Sales Operations and Managing Director of Key’s Netherlands facility. He will continue as Managing Director of Key Technology B.V. in the Netherlands while assuming his new position as Global Vice President of Sales. Previously, he was the Managing Director of Key’s Belgian facility. Leighty holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Oregon State University.

“This is an exciting time to lead Key’s talented sales team. With our next-generation VERYX® digital sorters and the continuous evolution of our best-in-class Iso-Flo® conveyors, we’re partnering with customers to solve even more production challenges,” said Leighty. “By helping food processors improve their product quality while increasing their yields and reducing their operating costs, we’re expanding existing core markets and cultivating new opportunities.”
