"We expect to export more kiwis than last season"

The kiwi-season hasn’t started just yet, but one Greek exporter is expecting a promising kiwi season. After they finished the expansion of their refrigeration facilities it is now expected they will increase the volumes of kiwi-export to 5000 tons this season.

“We are looking forward to a promising season,” says Christos Mitrosilis, CEO of Mitrosilis. “We expect to see that our brand will travel to the markets in Asia, North and South America and naturally the retail chains in Europe. We’re constantly investing in new facilities, staff training and new technologies, respecting the increasingly needs of both our clients and the end consumers.”

The Greek exporter recently finished expanding their refrigeration facilities, which should allow for growth in the export of kiwis. “If the season progresses like we estimate it will, we expect to export more kiwis than last season, about 5000 tons in total." To ensure growth, we’ll be participating at Fruit Attraction in Madrid, which takes place from the 22nd to the 24th of October. We invite anyone to come check out our stand and find out how serious we are about never compromising; our clients shall receive what they want, when they want and as they want it. We’re looking forward to the event, as it’s always a great opportunity to meet both existing and potential new clients.” Mitrosilis concludes.

Mitrosilis will be exhibiting during Fruit Attraction in Madrid. You can find them at Hall 10, stand D06, booth 21.
