Soon, Anuga, one of the world's leading trade fairs for food and beverages, will open, to run from 5 to 9 October 2019 in Cologne. Many new and familiar faces will be there, introducing their products to an international audience.

The Swiss Fruit Group will be attending Anuga for the second time. "We primarily work in the retail sector and food retailing.With our products, we address health-conscious people who care about social responsibility and the careful handling of nature," said Sarah Hofer, spokeswoman for the company.

"In addition to our first product, the Hiba Purafruta 100% pure fruit bar, this year we are re-launching Valvos Frozen Smooth." Frozen Smooth is frozen fruit puree made from pure, ripe, harvested fruit in portions. The fruits come from more than 2500 small farmers in Colombia and are bought at agreed fixed prices.

"Farmers also receive technical training and environmental awareness programs, and our partner in Colombia uses renewable energy to recycle organic waste as a compost for farmers." The fruit puree is very versatile in use and invites you to come up with new recipes Frozen Smooth is easy to process into juice & cocktails, cereals & smoothies, ice creams & sherbet, sauces & dressings, desserts & cakes," says Hofer.

To give the visitors at the booth a little taste, the purees are freshly mixed directly at the stand, to be tasted by the audience. "We look forward to many familiar and new faces and some interesting exchanges."
