Seeka Australia will showcase its refreshing green kiwifruit along with European and Asian pear varieties in the Taste Australia pavilion at this year’s Asia Fruit Logistica in Hong Kong.
Nashi and Packham Pears will be on display, along with its new variety Rico. The Rico pears are unique and an attractive red blush pear, with excellent size and shape.
Seeka will be introducing Rico pears to the market this year, the new Rico pear provides consumers with a superior taste and eating experience VS traditional red blush pears.
Seeka expects great consumer demand both locally and for export markets where a pathway is available.
Green kiwifruit continues to be a priority for Seeka's orcharding, packing and marketing programs, as demand remains high in its customer base due to the exceptional taste and fruit quality.
