Indonesia’s National Narcotics Agency (BNN) discovered 35 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine hidden inside a truck carrying vegetables from Aceh to Jakarta last Saturday. The officers arrested three suspects.
BNN deputy head, Arman Depari, said that investigators initially received a tip that a load of crystal methamphetamine would be transported to Jakarta using a truck from Medan in North Sumatra.
BNN officers followed and intercepted the truck, ostensibly transporting cabbages, they were pointed to. "The team found 35 bags of sabu-sabu [crystal methamphetamine] in the back of the truck.”
