Taylor Farms, a producer of ready-to-eat fresh foods, has announced the launch of four new chopped salad kits for the spring and summer seasons.
New Roasted Garlic, Tangerine Crunch, Steakhouse Wedge and Salsa Ranch Chopped Kits increase the Taylor Farms chopped kit portfolio to 18 retail recipes.

Taylor Farms cited Nielsen research data showing that in the last five years the value-added salad category has grown 19 percent, with salad kits driving overall growth at 111 percent. Salad kits represent 20 percent of the value-added salad category and have experienced double-digit growth year-over-year, with Chopped Salad Kits growing 17 percent in the past 52 weeks.
These latest additions to the Taylor Farms family are regionally processed within Taylor Farms’ production network and include dressings and fresh ingredients.
Roasted Garlic Chopped Kit
Freshly chopped romaine, red cabbage, shredded broccoli, green onion, celery, parsley, smoked cheddar cheese, herb crouton crumble with creamy roasted garlic dressing
Tangerine Crunch Chopped Kit
Freshly chopped romaine, green cabbage, shredded broccoli, green onion, celery, parsley, toasted quinoa, dried cranberries, sliced almonds paired with a simple sweet and tart tangerine vinaigrette
Steakhouse Wedge Chopped Kit
Savoy cabbage, romaine, carrots, red cabbage, shredded broccoli, green onion, uncured bacon, crispy onions, steakhouse seasoning with creamy blue cheese dressing
Salsa Ranch Chopped Kit
Red and green cabbage, shredded romaine, kale, carrots, green onion, blue and gold tortilla chips, 4-cheese Mexican blend with creamy salsa ranch dressing
Taylor Farms says the new kits feature the company’s '100 percent free from' logo, which it says indicated they are made without artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. The four new chopped kits are currently available nationwide.
