Swiss company AgroSustain plans new CHF 3 million financing

Start-up combats mold on fruits and vegetables

In order for people to be able to keep fruit and vegetables in the warehouse longer, start-up AgroSustain from Switzerland is developing a series of so-called biological antimycotics solutions. With it, they can treat a wide range of fungal diseases found in food stores.

The company, founded in 2018, recently announced a successfully completed seed financing of 1.1 million Swiss francs (€ 980,000). The next financing round, which is to collect another 3 million Swiss francs (just under € 2.7 million), will start in the spring of 2019, says the company on its homepage.
