In order to attract consumers’ attention, Georges Helfer France is selling Zespri SunGold and Zespri Green Organic kiwifruit in new, fashionable packaging without plastics. The product is exclusively available in Monoprix stores. Olivier Fakhri, Managing Director of Georges Helfer: “As this is an innovation, we do not know yet the precise sales figures, but we are convinced this new packaging will increase sales.”
Organic Zespri kiwifruit is still less popular in France than the conventional variant. “I believe it is essentially a matter of money, because the organic kiwifruit is a little more expensive,” says Olivier. “This might change in 4/5 years.”
