Transtolk takes over bankrupt Titanex's activities

Titanex BV was declared bankrupt by the courts in Central Netherlands last week. The curator reported to Transport Online that the reason for this bankruptcy is still being investigated. Titanex's transportation activities have since been taken over by Transtolk. This company is based in the Dutch town of Maasdijk. According to the curator, half of Titanex's staff should be able to remain on at the new company. The take over concerns only the defunct company's activities, not its material goods.

Transtolk focuses on air-conditioned transport. It has permanent line services from the Netherlands to Paris and southern France. They also do combined cargo transport to and from eastern France and Germany. Titanex was active in, especially, the air-conditioned transportation of fruit and vegetables from the Netherlands to Germany. Since 2005, there were also daily trips to Brittany.
