Optimal quality & cost-effective delivery as main goals

Frankort & Koning starts cooperation with South African producers

Import-export company Frankort & Koning BV, based at Fresh Park Venlo (the Netherlands), has signed a marketing agreement with several independent producers in South Africa. "Starting this citrus season, we will work intensively with these producers and that way we will be increasingly present on the market," said spokesman Leon van den Hombergh.

Positive feedback
"The first lemons and navel oranges have already arrived and, in week 27, the first Valencia oranges will be here." The goods will be packaged on site in Venlo and delivered on Ifco or EPS trays, on request. The aim is to get this fruit in optimal quality as quickly and cost-effectively as possible to the end user. "The first shipments have shown that the market reacts very positively to our direct cooperation," said the management.
