On 13th June 2018, FlyDubai started operating daily direct flights form Catania to Dubai and, from there, to over 100 destinations in Asia, Africa, Middle East and Europe/Russia.
The most modern B737/800 max aircrafts will be used, with over 100 cubic metres destined for general load, priority cargo, perishable load, precious load, courier load and mail.
The history
FlyDubai started operating in 2009 with the objective of taking more people to more destinations with more flights. In just a few years, FlyDubai managed to strengthen its position and now flies towards 85 destinations outside Dubai International Airport and Maktoum International (DWC).
The fleet
The airline has one of the youngest professional fleets on the market. Its aircraft are efficient, silent and reliable, meaning shipments reach their destinations in the most cost effective way possible.
"We are continuously increasing our Boeing 737-800 fleet to expand our network and increase the frequency of our flights (according to what was announced at the Dubai Airshow in 2013). We ordered seventy-five 737 MAX 8s and 11 NextGeneration," explain the managers.
