Meridian Fine Foods allegedly owed more than $130,000

Allegedly, a Los Angeles County business has failed to pay for fruit delivered by a Texas company. Meridian Fine Foods filed a complaint on May 21 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Dhoroz Inc. and Does 1-25, alleging breach of contract. The plaintiff alleges that they entered into a consignment arrangement whereby defendant agreed to market the plaintiff's fruit. The suit states that between Feb. 8 and March 1, 2017, the plaintiff issued several written invoices to defendant totalling $130,846.

The plaintiff hold Dhoroz Inc. and Does 1-25 responsible because the defendant allegedly materially breached their oral agreement by failing to pay the remaining the balance of $130,846, plus accrued interest at the rate permitted by law.

According to norcalrecord.com, the plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks payment for the principal sum of $130,846 together with interest and legal fees.
