More than 5,000 professionals attend the first version of Expo LatinPack Chile

The first version of Expo LatinPack CHILE 2018 has now ended. This international exhibition of the packaging sector and its value chain, brought together more than 100 exhibiting companies representing more than 150 brands and was attended by more than 5 thousand professionals.

Expo LatinPack Chile 2018 was organized by the Center for Containers and Packaging of Chile (CENEM) and Arma Productora, and it sought to provide the public with a complete vision of the sector's market situation, technological advances, and industry guidelines. In addition, it showcased the latest in technology and sustainability.

The visitors attended lectures on innovation and sustainability, technical talks, and established business relationships with different industry representatives.

"It was a very successful event. It was attended by more people than we expected. We were visited by executives from all over Chile and also by foreign delegations. The exhibitors exceeded all of our expectations and the technical and master lectures had a great attendance. This is proof that our country needed this kind of fair, where people could increase their network of contacts, get to know the market trends, and find solutions from experts," stated Mariana Soto, the general manager of CENEM.

Fabian Armagnague, the director of Arma Productora, confirmed the realization of a second version of Expo LatinPack CHILE in the year 2020. "We know that we'll have the support of the exhibiting companies and the participation of the public in the second version. This first version set the bar very high, given how successful it was in all areas."

This event was attended by companies from Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Spain, France, Peru, and Chile, which showed new developments in containers and packaging.
