Arriving ahead of Trump
Kim Jong Un eating durian & taking selfies in Singapore
Kim Jong Un made a surprise appearance in Singapore on Sunday, May 27, weeks ahead of the proposed North Korea-United States summit next month. Curious Singaporeans who followed the man with the familiar haircut walking around the Marina Bay Sands hotel eventually realized that he was actually Australian-Chinese impersonator Howard X.
The fake Kim was spotted sniffing some durian fruit and posing with fans for selfies.
“It looked like the real Kim Jong Un, but later I realized it’s not the real one,” tourist Sagar Admuthe told Reuters. “When you see him, it’s very difficult to make out.”
According to nextshark.com, the North Korean leader’s doppelganger, who went viral earlier this year after shocking North Korean cheerleaders at the Winter Olympics in South Korea, said he came to visit to support the summit between Kim and US president Trump. The two leaders are seeking to negotiate an ending to the North’s nuclear program.
