Unica Fresh sells its dried snacks on Amazon

Unica Fresh has started selling its BuenOh! line of dehydrated snacks on Amazon. The company expects to position this 100 percent natural snack in the market as a healthy, delicious, reference product that is ideal for vegans, and suitable for Celiacs.

With this launch, the BuenOh! snacks will be available in the marketplace of Spain, United Kingdom and Germany, as reported by the company in a statement.

The range of products of the new brand that Unica Fresh presented in the latest edition of Fruit Attraction, is characterized by its extra-crunchy texture, and the innovative process with which they are developed, which results in a snack that has no additives and is completely natural.

The BuenOh! snacks come in 15-gram bags presentations, which is equivalent to a serving of 150 grams of fresh product. The innovative and patented process used to make the snacks allows maintaining the fruits and vegetables' taste and organoleptic properties without adding any kind of sugars, salts, fats or other additives or preservatives. Thus, the company can offer consumers a healthy, fun snack that they can enjoy anywhere, anytime.

According to Diego Calderon, Unica's deputy director, "there's nothing like it in the market." "Normally, the dried fruits we usually find in the stores have around ten percent of moisture, and a soft, rubbery texture. If they are crispier, they tend to be freeze-dried or dried at high temperatures, which leads to a loss of nutritional properties," he said.

Calderon said that Unica Group had achieved producing a dehydrated product that had less than two percent humidity. "To achieve a crunchy texture, we dry the product at low temperatures, avoiding a loss of beneficial properties, and using a unique texturing process," he added.
