China: The demand for sustainable fruit is growing

Consumers have increased their demand for high-quality agricultural products as a result of economic development in China and in the world. There is a growing demand for environmentally friendly food products, and green food products. It has become trending to purchase green food that is beneficial for one's health. More and more consumers choose the green option. Green food products hold enormous potential for market growth, whether domestic or international.

The creation of a green and healthy fruit trend is the main topic of the Guangzhou 2018 - World Fruit Expo, which will be organized in the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou from June 27th to June 29th. The exposition covers fresh fruit products, fruit processing technology and facilities, processed fruit products, fresh fruit delivery management and technology, fruit plantation and harvest technology, and fresh fruit retail industry and technology. Invitations were sent out to exporters, importers, dealers, retailers, and commissioned traders. The purchasing community includes markets, supermarkets, specialized green stores, and chain stores.

Various experts from China and abroad, as well as numerous consulates, will speak during the first two days of the exposition. The Turkish consulate and various experts will provide an overview of the development of Turkish cherries, which obtained import permission for China last year. Apart from this, the exposition will also host a fruit and flower show, import and export trade talks, and a competition.
