Pagoda organised a news conference in Kunming on April 15th to announce that Pagoda will establish itself in Yunnan. Pagoda selected prime locations in Yunnan in 2017. This month Pagoda will simultaneously open 8 shops in Kunming. Not only will consumers be able to enjoy a "healthy fruit lifestyle" at home, they will also enjoy a return policy for food that does not meet with the expectations. At the same time, Yunnan Fruit has become part of the global Pagoda system. This will promote 'green' Yunnan Fruit.

Wang Pinghua, deputy commissioner of the Yunnan Department of Agriculture, introduced the conditions of Yunnan fruit industry during the news conference. Yunnan includes tropical regions and temperate regions. There are 287 kinds of fruit in 118 genera and 49 families. Yunnan is home to 88.4% of the country's fruit families, 92% of the country's fruit genera, and 75% of the country's fruit varieties. This makes Yunnan the leading province in China when it comes to fruit variety.
