The supply from potato stores is nearing its end, and the gradually growing supply of new potatoes has caused the price to fall.
The current price is far from the lowest price of stored potatoes. According to surveys the production areas in Shandong, Henan, and Hebei bring large volumes of potatoes onto the market in early April and May, which causes a short-term supply excess, which in turn brings down the price of new and old potatoes.
