Index Fresh, a worldwide avocado marketer, will present its next Seminar Series from May 8-10. They will be held in the three growing regions of California — San Luis Obispo, Ventura and San Diego counties.
“We believe it is our role at Index Fresh to host avocado cultural seminars to provide actionable material on timely and pertinent avocado topics. Topics for the seminar in May include soil science, pH and sulfur generators and sustainability,” said Keith Blanchard (pictured, right), California Field Manager at Index Fresh.
In its effort to continuously strengthen relationships, Index Fresh said it is committed to developing these seminar series for avocado growers. The company started this series in 2011, addressing pain points while introducing innovative ways for orchard care and useful market information for growers. Since then, Index Fresh has invited experts from around the world to speak on orchard rejuvenation, export markets polyphagous shot hole borer, pollination, farm labor outlook, California water issues, managing avocado crop, and so on.
