He explains that these mangoes were sent by air, which makes it a premium product. "The mangoes by air are harvested at the best moment, when they have developed the right flavor and smell. Normally fruit at this stage doesn't travel by ocean, due to the long transit time but some markets are willing to pay airfreight for a top quality product."
"Ole Supermarket in China cares about getting the best for their customers", concludes the CEO. "We are very happy we were able to satisfy their needs with the fruit quality we sent all the way from Puira, in Peru."
