There is currently abundant storage of apples in Shaanxi and Gansu production areas, which puts a lot of supply pressure on the market. Retail markets have not improved in the meantime and market consumption remains low. However, taking into consideration that temperatures will rise, so will the demand for apples gradually increase. As far as export is concerned, the export volume in January dropped in comparison with December and in comparison with January last year. The short-term market prospects are that supply continues to exceed demand. It is estimated that the price will remain weak.
