As of Monday 19 March, Central Fruit is also selling ripened bananas in Brussels, Belgium. Bart Tielemans, expert in the field of bananas within Group A. De Witte for some years now, will join the team. This way, quite a bit of knowledge is added to the sales team on the one hand, while on the other, the product range will also be expanded.
“The necessity to also offer ripened bananas at the import centre in Brussels was something that has been asked for, for quite some years now. We’re very happy Bart Tielemans is transferring from De Swert to pass on his knowledge and skill in our group,” says branch manager William Willems.
“With our own CEBON bananas, we have a trump card. This product is a direct hit, both regarding price and quality, and with it we can appeal to a certain segment of the market,” Bart Tielemans continues. They naturally also offer Chiquita bananas.
