Taylor Farms California Foodservice, Inc. is initiating a voluntary, precautionary recall of a limited quantity of Taylor Farms Brand Diced Yellow Onions 3/8”, 4/5# with a production date of STF066A56. The Taylor Farms Brand Diced Yellow Onion 3/8” 4/5# has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella following a random test of a single finished package. There have been no complaints or illnesses reported in association with this recall. No other Taylor Farms products or brands are included in this recall.
Items subject to this recall include: Taylor Farms, TF Yellow Onion Diced 3/8" 4/5#, item number 1130025, package code STF066A56, best by 3/24/2018.
The “Best By” Code Date for the recalled products can be located on the top/middle right portion of the front label. Customers who have purchased this product are urged not to consume the product and should dispose of it. Please immediately examine your warehouse and store level inventory to determine if you have any this product on hand. If so, please discontinue distribution and destroy according to our Proof of Destruction procedure attached. Please return the completed form back to Taylor Farms.
If you have further distributed this product, please immediately institute a recall to insure this product is removed from the distribution chain and destroyed accordingly. If you have not been directly contacted by Taylor Farms California Foodservice, Inc., then the product that you have received from Taylor Farms California Foodservice, Inc. is not impacted by this recall.
