Furthermore, Dr. Hermann Onko Aeikens (State Secretary Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture), Franz-Josef Holzenkamp (President German Raiffeisenverband eV), Dr. Ing. Hanns-Christoph Eiden (President Federal Agency for Agriculture and Food (BLE)), Dr. Ing. Hans-Dieter Stallknecht (Managing Director Federal Committee on Fruit and Vegetables), Dr. Ing. Christian Weseloh (Managing Director of the Federation of Producers' Organizations Fruits and Vegetables) and numerous other industry experts were very impressed by the eye-catching display at this year's trade fair and the strategic orientation of Landgard, the producer cooperative with its 3,300 member companies.

"As a marketing cooperative, we are working every day to address the concerns of our members. Only together with key industry representatives can we achieve a future viability and further development of our German production, thus safeguarding the future of German producers in the long term," said Armin Rehberg, CEO of Landgard eG. "That is our passion and our task. For this reason, we will join forces with BVEO even more closely in the future to bundle our activities around our important core issues in the German fruit and vegetable sector.
How important it is to bundle industry-internal efforts, especially with regard to key future issues, was again emphasized by BVEO Managing Director Dr. Christian Weseloh, one of the participants of the Landgard Sustainability Talk at the Fruit Logistica: "Ecology, economy and social issues - we have many areas in which we are developing ourselves. Appreciation of good products and sustainability across all stages of value creation are topics of the future, on which the entire production and distribution chain must work closely together." Because it is clear: sustainability is everyone's business.
