San Miguel Produce, Inc. is pleased to announce a new member of the San Miguel family, Bob Cummings as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
“We have known Bob from the industry for many years and are excited to bring him aboard,” said Jan Berk, COO for San Miguel Produce. “His passion is a great fit for our company culture and we believe that his leadership and experience will help our family farm reach its strategic goals.”
Cummings comes to San Miguel with a long history in the food and fresh-cut produce business. Initially starting in the meat industry, he has held senior management positions at Hormel, Con-Agra and Farmland Foods (now Smithfield Foods). Cummings entered the produce industry 18 years ago, starting with Reichel Foods and most recently at Crunch Pak for the past 11 years.
Cummings joins the growing company at a pivotal time and will help develop strategic sales and marketing programs driving innovation and leading San Miguel Produce towards its vision as 'The Growing Standard of Greens'.
