China: Water-soluble fertilizers enter peak season

Following the end of the demand for autumn fertilizer, the gaze is now shifting to fertilizer for winter preservation. People are now focusing on products that combine fertilizer with diammonium, which is the main product for winter preservation. As the winter preservation market is growing, water-soluble fertilizers, which usually are not as popular, are now also entering their peak season.

Currently, water-soluble fertilizers are mostly popular in greenhouse vegetable production, fruit production, and some flower and plant production. After the end of October, the demand for water-soluble fertilizers will be rather big. Especially the demand from greenhouse vegetable producers will increase dramatically. They have two reasons why they choose to use these fertilizers. Firstly, the large quantities of nutrients in water-soluble fertilizers help vegetables and other crops in growing healthily and quickly. Secondly, as these fertilizers are often used alongside irrigation, the crops can access the fertilizer better, absorbing all its nutrients. As the greenhouse crop season is approaching, these advantages of water-soluble fertilizers make an increase in demand inevitable. That is the main reason why the producers of these fertilizers are improving their distribution.

Furthermore, after October, even though the Chinese environmental protection inspection has not yet finished, as the efforts are weakening, producers of water-soluble fertilizers that did not pass the inspections before, can now still pass with a series of improvements. As autumn starts, and the demand is big, many producers of these fertilizers have started making orders, increasing production. Overall, the ex factory price has risen, because the prices for raw materials are high, and the demand has increased. Water-soluble fertilizers will most likely do quite well on this autumn and winter's fertilizer market.
