New season Egyptian oranges start in middle of November

On this year's imported orange market, Egyptian oranges have been doing extremely well, in both sales and price, which are both better than in the previous years. "In the past three years, Egyptian oranges have been improving continuously on the Chinese market. More and more importers and consumers have gotten to know these oranges. Therefore, we will continue our efforts on the Chinese market in the future. When we can guarantee the taste for the Chinese consumers, we will further improve our product quality and packaging," according to Mr. James Wang, representative of the Chinese market at the Egyptian Forwell Import & Export C.T.D.

Because of this year's exceptional market position, many importers are fixing their gaze on the new season for Egyptian oranges. "Currently, Valencian oranges are doing very well. In exterior, sweetness and supply they are doing better than in previous years. If there is no extreme weather, our Valencian oranges will be harvested around 15 November," says Mr. Wang.

During the harvest, the processing facilities are bustling

"Forwell was founded in January 2012, so it is a very young and energetic import company. In the past five years, we have not only established ourselves on the European and Russian market, but also earned a good market reputation and product response. Currently, we mainly supply citrus fruit, like oranges, lemons, and tangerines, of which Valencian oranges and lemons are our core products."

Forwell's oranges for the Chinese market

"Last year, we established a Forwell office in Beijing, so that we can expand to the Chinese market, and further expand to Guangzhou. Because of our Chinese office, we can understand the product and sales situation better. We are able to ask questions and ask for advice from importers and sellers, and can have timely and smooth communication. It makes our customers feel more at ease. That is why our development on the Chinese market has been going very smoothly for the past two years."

Forwell's oranges are sent to Guangzhou

"This year, we are hoping to find more sales channels in Guangzhou and Shanghai, and more partners, so that we can collaborate to develop the Chinese market. As our citrus products have been very successful in Guangzhou for the past two years, we are very confident in our future on the Chinese market."
