"Jinxiang has a garlic production area of 25,000 hectares (250,000 mu), and it currently has around 2.1 million tons of garlic in storage. In the past few years, the garlic production area of Jinxiang and its surroundings has increased by around 20% annually, and its production has grown by 15%. Compared to last year, this year's production area is pretty much the same. It might even have decreased slightly," according to Mr. Xue Cuncai, CEO of Jinxiang Cun Cai Agricultural Trade Co Ltd.

"We are a private company in Jinxiang county. We work with fruit and vegetables, such as onions, garlic, chili peppers, potatoes and apples. Our products are exported to countries in South East Asia, such as Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and Europe, the Middle East and Colombia. We purchase high quality garlic from local garlic farmers. Our annual supply is around 6,000 tons. In the future, while we are steadily developing our current customers and markets, we are also hoping to partner up with many trading companies, so that we can give even more foreign consumers the opportunity to taste our high quality Jinxiang garlic."
