After ten years at Jaguar

Eddy Jager becomes purchasing director of Greenyard Fresh Hamburg

Eddy Jager will continue his career as purchasing director at Greenyard Fresh Hamburg as of February 2018, where he will have final responsibility over the citrus and melon package. At the moment Jager is still import / business development manager for Jaguar in Barendrecht. He has been responsible for the South American purchasing package for almost ten years now. In the years before he worked for his own business Eddy Jager AGF, Jager Holland and Anaco Greeve.

The experienced fruit importer looks towards the next step in his career with positivity. "It may seem like quite a leap to move to a different country, but Germany isn't the end of the world. I see it as a big opportunity to continue my career in the fruit and vegetable sector in Hamburg and my wife also sees it as a challenge to relocate here."

Finally, Eddy speaks of his gratitude to his current employer. "Jaguar is a tone setting brand for fruit and vegetables all over the world. The company is an example of how to work on close and long lasting relationships with its suppliers. I worked in an especially great team for all those years and will always think of Jaguar with warm feelings."
