Azerbaijan inaugurates new agro park in Shamkir
The conference brought together the representatives of government agencies, higher education and research institutions, farmers, advanced local and foreign experts specialized in the agrarian sector.
An agricultural exhibition featuring greenhouse equipment, fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, irrigation systems, tractors, machinery and mechanisms, etc, all manufactured to international standards has been held as part of the international conference.
The Shamkir Agropark will accommodate a modern greenhouse, intensive melon farming, a fruit and vegetable processing plant, a container factory, a logistics center and an agricultural service center, a refrigerated warehouse, sales centers, a fleet of vehicles, a research and innovation center, a hotel and various infrastructure enterprises.
