Belarus and Afghanistan ready to develop partnership in agriculture
During the talks, Afghanistan noted its interest in creating joint productions with Belarus in the spheres of agriculture and industry. A number of agreements have been signed today by the government. The Head of State has assured that Belarus is ready to develop cooperation in all areas that may be of interest to Afghanistan.
Last year, the trade between Belarus and Afghanistan amounted to 26.5 million dollars. Compared to 2015, there is 60% growth. Belarus currently purchases fruits and vegetables from Afghanistan. Sales of Belarusian goods to Afghanistan have increased by more than 80 percent this year.
