China: Garlic price drops slightly

On the morning of 19 July 2017, the forecasted rainfall
decreased the garlic quantity in the area of Jinxiang. Buyers are planning to increase their purchases, but the overall demand is still not very high. The majority of storage owners are looking forward to new price developments.

The garlic price continues to be weak, as business is not very lively. Purchasing depresses the prices, and garlic sellers are not asking appropriate prices. Prices of over 2.70 yuan arise for products of a reasonable quality. Even though prices are not really changing, the quality has improved slightly.
