Thai self-service fruit shop taken over by Chinese tourists

Every year between May and September there is a tropical bumper harvest for fruit in Thailand. Currently the most popular place to be is the self-service fruit shop located on Think Park square in the Thai city of Chiang Mai. One only needs a few hundred Thai baht to endlessly eat fruit that usually cannot be found. This self-service fruit shop has already been inundated by foreign tourists, of which the majority are Chinese. For most people the main reason to go there is to try their durians. Of course there are also mangosteens, mangoes, rambutans, wax apples, lychees, papayas and many other tropical fruits. The shop gets through 3 tons of durian every day and shop assistants don't even have the time to resupply the shelves.
