China: Tianjin Airport fruit port is now officially open

Recently, 100 tonnes of American cherries from Seattle were imported through Binhai International Airport for the first time. It signals that the Tianjin Airport fruit port is now officially open for business.

On May 2nd 2017, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China gave the Tianjin Airport fruit port permission to start working in a test mode.
