On 29th of June, the 9th China Garlic Fair and a signing ceremony of contracts for businesses in the garlic industry took place in Qixian County. Mr. Li Xiaofeng and Mr. Zhang Changxu, together with over 100 local garlic sellers and domestic and oversea buyers attended the ceremony.
According to the organizer of the fair, 33 new projects were signed on the spot for a total value of RMB 4.3725 billion, including RMB 50 million for e-commerce platform projects for green produce.
The total volume of garlic involved in the contracts reached 800,000 tons, including 35,000 tons of sliced garlic and 800 tons of black garlic. An agreement to develop and build an advanced garlic indicator system in Qixian County was also signed.
