China: Carrefour joins hands with Joyvio to promote their fresh blueberries

In the past few days, retail giant Carrefour has joined forces with a leading Chinese corporation in the fruit industry, JoyVio. 

JoyVio's original creation of "Blueberry Eyecandy Day" in 2017, has had an explosive opening at the group's South-China hub in Shenzhen. They invited residents to jointly evaluate the taste of fresh blueberries which were transported in 48 hours via a cold chain circuit. 

The "Blueberry Eyecandy Day" organized by JoyVio and Carrefour had the purpose of advocating a healthy, high quality life, full of fruits. They also hoped to get more people's attention for their companies.

The person in charge of JoyVio said that their blueberries are a famous product of which he is very proud. JoyVio's blueberries are carefully selected, and great care is taken in their cultivation. They use a means of ecological growth that is globally known to be of high quality, so they can produce good fruits in the end. Every blueberry is packed by hand, while the production line automatically selects the blueberries that meet the standards. This is how the high quality of the blueberries is assured.

Carrefour's and JoyVio's "Blueberrry Eyecandy Day" has brought the complete fruit experience and the world of fashion together for the first time.

Consumers were able to taste JoyVio blueberries at the peak of their freshness. Visitors could also take part in all kinds of activities and thus have a direct experience. What a wonderful start to the summer!

Carrefour say that JoyVio has been a strategic partner since it entered China 22 years ago, and that both parties will continue devoting their efforts to sharing fresh fruit with the consumers, improving the people's health and quality of life, and promoting sustainable development within the Chinese fruit industry.
