Automatic brute line for potato processor in Asia

Tolma-Grisnich has developed a brute weight installation for a large potato processor in Asia. This advanced automatic brute line determines the quality during the harvest of a party of potatoes in various manners. The brute weight line consists of the following parts:

Salt bath
In this bath 'floaters' are detected. Floating potatoes have a low underwater wight and aren't suitable for processing into chips.

Inspection table
During the reading process on this inspection table the party is manually checked for rotten, deformed, green and torn potatoes.

MR06 sorting machine
On this made to size sorting machine the party is divided into 4 and sorted by length. In the manner the size division of the party is determined.

Determining length in the chip size
Using the size for processing into chips, a scanner is used to determine the length of the spuds.

Automatic set up of brute weight report
Each determination such as green, floaters and under size automatically has its weight determined. The quality of the party is presented on the brute weight report. The big advantage for potato processor is that in this manner the eventual processing quality of the potato products can be safeguarded.
