Dutch retailer starts summer campaign with picnic products

With the summer about to start, Dutch retailer Jumbo introduces various new, fresh products aimed at eating outside and convenience: cold soups, luxury salads, fruit mixes and cocktails. Having a holiday at home is the campaign’s slogan. This year, Jumbo introduces 200 healthy (healthier) convenience products.



This summer, it will be about watermelon salad with feta cheese, mint and red onion, and green salad with beetroot, goat’s cheese and nuts. These will be available from week 22 for €2.99.




Fruit cocktails in various mixes: types of red soft fruit, sweet melon or fruit fiesta with watermelon, blueberries and lemon-mint sauce, or cuppi frutti with strawberries and orange sauce. Available from week 20 for €2.00.



Jumbo fruit juices and lemonades in, for example, the flavour watermelon-mint and sweet-sour lemon lemonade. 



Cold soups: gazpacho, cucumber soup and red beetroot soup. Available from week 20 for €2.49.



Less rich in fruit and vegetables are the tapas pizzas from the refrigerated display, in the flavours chicken-bell pepper, grilled vegetables, quatro formaggi, pear-gorgonzola and prosciutto. Available from week 20 for €3.99 per piece.
