Police investigating Sydney fruit shop fire

Police are investigating after a fruit shop went up in flames in Sydney's south overnight. The call came in at around 1am on Monday according to NSW Police.

The ferocious blaze was extinguished a short time later by firefighters and there was a moderate amount of damage done to the shop.

No one was injured in the fire but officials are investigating after finding petrol cans in a nearby park area. Officers from Sutherland Local Area Command established a crime scene and an investigation is underway to determine the fire's cause. Video and photos of the blaze can be seen at dailymail.co.uk.
