Brexit : Fruit and vegetable prices to increase in Britain

As Britain leaves the EU, they need to expect to pay more for fruit, vegetables and even olive oil. Economists have predicted that imported food and agricultural products could increase by up to 8% in price. An inflation that is emphasised by the decrease over the last few months of the British pound. 

In 2016, the UK imported the equivalent of €55 billion of food and agricultural products, of which 71% came from countries within the EU.
