China: Country's first Ag tech base aims to crack foreign barriers.


On March 3rd, the country's first Food & Agricultural Technical Trade Research And Evaluation base was set up in Weifang city, Shandong province. The base was established by the State Administration, the Shandong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and the Weifang Municipal People's Government. The three parties jointly signed the agreement of China WTO/TBT-SPS and held an awarding ceremony. This is an important strategic cooperation between the State Administration and the Shandong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau on technical trade measures.
