China: First interception of monilinia fructicola in Australian nectarines

The Shenzhen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau recently detected the American and Australian types of monilinia fructicola in a batch of Australian imported nectarines. This was the first time that China has detected bacteria from Australian nectarines. This batch of nectarines entered from the Wenjindukou port of Shenzhen city, weighing 20.3 tons in a total of 2,028 cases with a value of nearly $80,000.
