Avocados From Mexico official sponsor of Nutrition Month in Canada

Avocados From Mexico takes the pledge to help Canadians eat better. This March, for the first time, Avocados From Mexico is an official sponsor of Nutrition Month, a national campaign organized by the Dietitians of Canada. 
 
Dietitians of Canada is the national professional association for dietitians, representing 6,000 members at the local, provincial and national level. The main goal of the campaign is to provide information and guidance to Canadians to win their fight with food. 
 
Avocados From Mexico will participate in Nutrition Month via a wide-ranging series of public relations and information campaigns with media integration on many of Canada’s most important media platforms. The health and nutritional benefits of avocados will also be highlighted by a wide range of bilingual pedagogical tools developed in partnership with Dietitians of Canada and will be distributed across the country during the month of March. 
 
The March Nutrition Month partnership also includes 12 recipes created by Avocados From Mexico to be featured on Cookspiration, a mobile application and website designed by Dietitians of Canada, which offers healthy recipe ideas to suit Canadians’ moods and schedules. These recipes demonstrate how avocados can be easily integrated into the population's every-day diet. 
In addition to sponsoring March Nutrition Month, Avocados From Mexico will launch a 4week media campaign, to be seen principally on Global TV (The Morning Show) and Foodnetwork.ca. This media campaign will include a short TV spot designed to promote the versatility of the fruit with a number of avocado-based recipe ideas. 
 
Avocados From Mexico will also partner with Canadian retailers to inspire Canadians to eat healthier with recipe ideas in their flyers and on their social media platforms. The retail programs will comprise some in-store activities.
