Peru superfoods on show at Biofach 2017
Biofach 2016 gathered over 2,300 exhibitors from 86 countries and welcomed at least 44,000 professionals from 129 nations. The delegation aims at promoting and positioning Peruvian superfoods in international markets.
National entrepreneurs expect to close US$58 million in deals as result of an upcoming successful participation in the fair, according to Peru's Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru).
Inca products, to be displayed on the occasion, are: avocado and chestnut; quinoa; maca; chia; canihua; amaranth; lucuma; ginger; avocados; bananas; passion fruit; among others.
